— Towards Cyber Risk Visualization and Data Intelligence for Japanese Companies —
PIPELINE Co., Ltd. has recently revamped its corporate website.
This renewal is not simply a redesign or structure overhaul; its purpose is to more clearly communicate our initiatives and future direction.

The fundamentals of cybersecurity are changing.
In recent years, the cyber risks surrounding Japanese companies have changed dramatically.
The traditional approach of focusing primarily on "internal company measures" has shifted to requiring responses across the entire supply chain , including group companies, overseas bases, and business partners.
Furthermore, within frameworks such as Active Cyber Defense (ACD) and Supply Chain Security (SCS),
Continuous monitoring
Objective evidence
Maintaining an explainable state
The importance of these perspectives is increasing.
The concept of "continuous visibility" from the outside
Against this backdrop, we are focusing on one important change.
That is the importance of **continuously gathering information that can be objectively verified from external sources**.
Traditional assessments and audits capture the state of affairs at a specific point in time, but actual risks are constantly changing.
Furthermore, while the visibility of publicly available assets (Attack Surface Management: ASM) is an important element, it is becoming increasingly difficult to adequately support continuous risk assessment and accountability through ASM alone.
That's why,
Externally observable risks
Continuously accumulated data
Evidence that can be explained chronologically
A new form of visualization based on this is needed.
Pipeline's initiatives
Based on this approach, Pipeline is working to continuously monitor and organize external risks for companies.
In our flagship service, "RiskSensor,"
Continuous monitoring of external risks for companies and related organizations
Accumulation of objective data based on scans
AI-powered analysis (including the ACD framework) and expert analysis of the information.
Provided in a format that can be used by both management and on-site staff.
Through this, we aim to go beyond simply acquiring information and provide structured insights that can be used for decision-making, as well as continuous evidence .
Responding to Japan's Institutions and Governance
We also place great importance on adapting to the systems and governance environment surrounding Japanese companies.
especially,
Active Cyber Defense (ACD)
Supply Chain Security (SCS)
Existing frameworks such as ISO 27001
We are working to provide natural support for the "continuity" and "objective evidence" required in this context.
Looking ahead
Our goal is,
Our goal is to provide Japanese companies with the foundational information and perspectives necessary to build stronger and more transparent security systems.
Furthermore, we will work to strengthen data intelligence across the entire supply chain and to identify early warning signs based on changes observed from external sources.
This website is the first step in that direction, designed to more clearly communicate our philosophy and the value we offer.
We will continue to support corporate security and decision-making through ongoing information dissemination and service improvements.
