The signing and understanding were held in a ceremony held in Japan in the presence of Bangladesh's Prime Minister H.E. Sheikh Hasina and Japan's Prime Minister Fumio Kishida.
The Cybersecurity Center of Excellence is set to provide Security Operations Center (SOC) services and hands-on cybersecurity training for students and professionals in Bangladesh. The center will also feature a cyber range for practical exercises and simulations, which will enhance real-life-risk mitigation drill and exercise to combat the real-world scenarios. The agenda also features training in Japanese for natives and Bangladeshis and covers curriculum to learn Japanese culture and language, to bolster efficiency as resources in Japan.
The CCoE will offer a comprehensive curriculum, which includes expert facility and faculty for training in the latest cyber defense techniques. The Cyber Defense Conference '23, which was organized jointly by Pipeline Inc. and EV Cyber Team last January, is a testament to the partnership's commitment to advancing the cybersecurity landscape in Bangladesh. The conference was the first of its kind in the country and received an overwhelming response from industry leaders and professionals.
